How to use your licence on another Mac.

One Pangalin Space Manager licence covers every Mac you personally own or control. There's no limit on the number of Macs and nothing to deactivate first: you use the same key on each one.

The licence is for you alone, so please don't share the key with other people. See the Licence Terms.

Pangalin Uninstaller is free from version 1.6 and needs no licence: just install it on each Mac.

Add a second Mac

On the other Mac, install Pangalin Space Manager and open it once to accept the terms.
Open your licence email on that Mac and click Activate on this Mac, or paste the key in Settings › Licence. The full steps are in Activate your licence.
Grant Full Disk Access on this Mac too, when the app asks.

Moved to a new Mac with Migration Assistant

Migration Assistant copies your apps and usually your licence, but not the privacy permissions you granted on the old Mac. macOS asks for those again on each Mac.

On the new Mac, open each app from your Applications folder.
If Pangalin Space Manager asks for a licence, activate it with the key from your most recent licence email.
Pangalin Space Manager: grant Full Disk Access again. Choose Apple menu › System Settings › Privacy & Security › Full Disk Access and turn on Pangalin Space Manager. If it's already on but the numbers look low, turn it off and on again, then reopen Pangalin Space Manager.
Pangalin Uninstaller: macOS asks for App Management again the first time you uninstall an app on the new Mac. Allow it then.
Check each app is up to date: choose Check for Updates… in each app's menu (how to update).

Our apps need Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 13 Ventura or later, so they won't run on an older Intel Mac.

Selling or giving away your old Mac

Erasing the Mac (System Settings › General › Transfer or Reset › Erase All Content and Settings) removes the apps and your licence with everything else. That's all you need to do.
Not erasing it, for example passing it on within the family with your user account still on it? Remove your key first: in Pangalin Space Manager, Settings › Licence › Remove licence key from this Mac. Then uninstall the apps if you like (Pangalin Space Manager, Pangalin Uninstaller).
