How to uninstall Logitech G HUB on a Mac.
Logitech's steps for G HUB are short: quit it (force quit if needed), move it to the Trash and restart. G HUB also installs system extensions, which macOS asks you to allow when it's installed.
Uninstall G HUB
- Quit G HUB. If it won't quit, choose Apple menu › Force Quit and quit it there.
- Open Applications and move Logitech G HUB to the Trash.
- Restart your Mac.
Logitech notes that the first uninstall attempt can fail. Click OK, wait a moment and try again.
Its settings
G HUB keeps its settings, including your device profiles, in ~/Library/Application Support/LGHUB. Logitech describes deleting this folder to reset G HUB; move it to the Trash too if you don't plan to reinstall.
Using Logi Options+ for other Logitech devices? That's a separate app: see uninstall Logi Options+.
Afterwards
- Check System Settings › General › Login Items & Extensions for anything still named G HUB; see login items. An app that's still in your Trash can stay listed there until you empty the Trash or restart; that's normal macOS behaviour.
- Empty the Trash when you're sure. Emptying the Trash is permanent.
Based on Logitech's own support articles, checked October 2026. Menu names can change between versions.
Then check for anything G HUB left behind.
Once the app is gone, Pangalin Uninstaller's free Leftovers scan lists files left behind by apps that are no longer installed, by name and size. Apple's files are never included. It also shows where each one is and moves the ones you choose to the Trash in one go, with Undo.
