How to uninstall AnyDesk on a Mac.
AnyDesk's uninstall button is hidden in its About window until you hold Option. AnyDesk then lists two folders to remove.
Uninstall AnyDesk
- Open AnyDesk, open its menu and choose About AnyDesk.
- Hold Option, and click Uninstall at the top right.
- Remove the folders below.
Using the portable version (not installed)? Quit it from its menu-bar icon, move AnyDesk to the Trash, then remove the same folders.

Deleting them permanently removes your AnyDesk ID and alias unless you've backed them up.
Didn't install AnyDesk yourself? If someone asked you to install it for "support" you didn't request, remove it and check System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility and Screen Recording for anything you don't recognise.
Afterwards
- Check System Settings › General › Login Items & Extensions for anything still named AnyDesk; see login items. An app that's still in your Trash can stay listed there until you empty the Trash or restart; that's normal macOS behaviour.
- Empty the Trash when you're sure. Emptying the Trash is permanent.

Then check for anything AnyDesk left behind.
Once the app is gone, Pangalin Uninstaller's free Leftovers scan lists files left behind by apps that are no longer installed, by name and size. Apple's files are never included. It also shows where each one is and moves the ones you choose to the Trash in one go, with Undo.
